Raging Waters!

Last Week we had a spontaneous trip to
Raging Waters!!
My sisters' Neighbor owns raging waters, and she
had given her some free passes, so we decided to
go and beat the heat in the water.
Ali was really skeptical of all the big slides and
tube rides, but in the end she had a great time.

One of her favorite things to do was climb across
the climbing snake. The best part was she didn't
use the climbing rope, she just jumped from one
piece to the next floating piece. Everyone would
watch her with a smile across thier face because
it was so cute to see her jump like a little frog!

Look at that determination in her face.
She had her little tongue hanging out
every part of the way!!
My little niece was jumping off the tubes
and flew off of it and landed funny. We
had to end our trip a little early because
we were worried she broke her foot.
The doctor was convinced it was, but
it ended up just being a BAD bruise!

His Shoes!

Cam started walking earlier this month. We didn't
know how well he would be walking with shoes and
usually he would freak out if I tried to put shoes on him.
So we hadn't bought him any, and decided it was time!
The first thing in the morning he does is finds his shoes.
He carries them around until I put them on him.
It is really cute!

I thought they were the cutest little shoes, and when
Ali saw them of course she had to have a matching pair
and so she has the same ones in PINK!!
I had to document his first pair of shoes!!

They are so cute on him!! and he is a good
walker in them- no falls yet!!

In the Canyon!

Last friday night the guys wanted to go ride the ridge
trail up in American Fork canyon, so my good friend
Tracie and I decided to take the kids to the resevoir and
play until they get done, and then go make a fire.
I love being up in the mountains, and it had been way
to long since I had made a camp fire.
It was Cams first time wearing shoes, and
we hadn't bought any yet for him, so Tracie
saved the day and brought a pair of Taylors.
Cam loved walking all over!

Ali made a "art work" while we waited
for the boys!

The guys made it down saftely and
so quickly!

Tracie continually amazes me as she juggles being
the mom of three!! She doesn't let her twins
slow her down at all. They were packed up
and enjoying the great out doors too!
Little Drew

and Lana!!
I had to post some photos because
Tracie is to busy to post any!!! j/k tracie

We told Britto and Steve we would meet them
in the Canyon to have smores but I couldn't
figure out where they were camped at. I searched
every Honda Pilot in the entire canyon. There
were quite a few. The best part was i checked the
same one twice confident it was thiers, but it was to clean
and had a booster seat.(they changed Jamison to a car seat and
it totally threw me off!!) I am special!!! But we ended up finding them!

Ali of course dressed her best for the canyon!!
She is all GIRL!

The Helms- being mezmorized by the fire
and Reed by the sky!!

Cams' first camp fire!!
He just loved the marshmellows

Tracie and Lana

It was so dark that Ali couldn't see the marshmellows
and she said, "Are these cooked yet!!"
I would say they are COOKED!

Ali ate so many marshmellows- she said,
"They are just so good!"
Right after that she PUKED up all
the marshmellows and everything else in her
little belly! It was quite the sign to head home!!

Happy Birthday Ali-gator!

Happy Birthday Ali!!
None of us can believe Ali just
turned 6!!
Ali loves to plan things out. I think she had
every detail about her birthday planned out
clear back in January- As soon as Christmas
was over, she was plotting her next big event!
Her first request was Breakfast in Bed.
It was cute because anyone who knows fro
knows that we don't eat in our beds- So Ali
was really excited when her birthday wish was
granted- she convinced him by saying "it won't be
in your bed- dad !!"
She requested french toast, and a donut!!

Of course the princess had to have a movie during
her little birthday feast!

After breakfast we all went up to the pepperwood pool
for a swim. I grew up there and as me and my sisters
drove through, it brought back so many fun memories.
I got to show Ali and Cam my house that I grew up in,
and all my friends houses- I loved it!!

Cam is just sportin' some awesome shades!

Our little clan!

Ali and Madison swimmin'

When we got home we began the decoration
process for Alis "Under the Sea"
Birthday Party

We played with water balloons, had the house
decorated with a fishing pond, and sea-weed
and Ali put Ariel treasures all over (diamond stones)
It was really fun!

We made a fishing wall where all the kids could
cast their fishing lines over, and get prizes from the
under the sea King (Fro)
All the kids loved it!

All the big kids loved it too!

And of course my sisters were there- minus Heather!

Ali with her favorite Pappa!

Her uncles Nick and Alex

And of course her favorite Mom!!
Ali was so detailed in her party ideas that she
even wanted to buy a brand new blue skirt to wear
so she could be like Ariel.
She wanted me to dress up like the sea witch, but
I vetoed that Idea!
We watched a video I made her that shows
pictures of her from last year to this year- it is
my favorite traditon, and everyone loved it!
Happy Birthday my beautiful little Girl!

Hula for Mula!

My little Brother Briant turned 24!!
and in leui of gifts, my mom decided
to make him hula for money! That way
he could save for his upcoming wedding.
So we strapped baskets, cups, pails, bowls
whatever to him and made him dance!!
The kids loved throwing pennies, quarters,
dollar bills, you name it at him.
We then got to throw water balloons at him.
For every water balloon he caught he got a dollar!
He ended up with $20 bucks from the water balloons
- not to shabby!!
It was a fun night, and i think he ended up with
a wad of MULA!!
Happy 24th Buddy!!

9 years ago TODAY

WE GOT MARRIED
What a Gentleman!

I had to post a few wedding pictures for memories sake!
They are pictures of pictures, so they kind of are crappy
in detail, but it gives the gist!
9 years ago today, we were at the TImpanogos Temple
being sealed together on a journey that has had so many
twists and turns, and laughs and tears, that we had NO
idea. Looking back it is amazing how naive you are going
into a marriage. Fro and I were both saying that you don't
even comprehend what your doing, your just in love, and
you take the next step whether your 20 or 35, for us it
was just shy of 21, and 23 !! Holy Cow that is Crazy!!
We can't believe how it seriously has flown by, and
changed us both in so many ways!!
Since it is our 9 year celebration, I want to document
9 reasons I am so glad that we are married!!
(Not in any order!)
1. We do a good job at having fun together no matter
what it is we are doing!
2. We love discovering things about each other still that
makes the other person tick!! Not ticked off,
just the little things that no one else knows!
3. We have taught each other so much about
who we are, and what we really believe!
4. We haven't let People tell us what direction our
lives are supposed to go, we have done it together
with the LORDS help.
5. We have made it through a lot of obstacles
that have made us so much stronger, and
we are still smileing!
6. We have goals, and wants, and desires that
are always changeing and making us better
7. Fro has learned to say " I love you, even when
taking out the garbage!" That is HUGE!
8. We both give in our relationship, it
is in no way one sided. Except when
I wear the pants!!
9. We have brought two of the greatest blessing
we could have been blessed with into the world
and if I have my way we will have 2 MORE!!
(that is our Canada trip deal- He gets to go to
Canada to bike every year, and we have 2 more kids!
See we both Give!!! HA HA!)
Love ya Babe, and then some!

Happy Anniversary!!

Well we officially reached 9 years!! I can't believe it!
Time seriously flys by, and especially when you
get to spend half of it riding bikes!!
We usually go stay overnight somewhere, but
due to a few complications we opted for a fun filled
day in the mountains!! Life doesn't get a whole lot
better than riding in Park City!
Okay the beachwould have won,
but that is next year for the big 10year mark!
We dropped the kiddos off at my sisters and
headed to Deer Valley. One of the complications
of the day was that i literally couldn't walk. I have
a bulged disc that acts up every now and then and
makes little things like sitting and walking very complicated.
SO sunday night i was laying flat on my back with
all kinds of frozen food on my back. I was in a lot of pain.
I had the sciatic pain shooting down my leg in full force.
Needless to say I was skeptical we would be going on this
biking vacation. But by morning I was limping which was
a good sign!! At least I could move!! and Biking only makes
your body feel better RIGHT!!

I had to get this shot to show that after 5 hours of biking
I was still going strong. I couldn't sit on the ski lift, or get off
for that matter, but I could RIDE!! My pain got better
as I rode, but the second I stopped and tried to walk,
BOOM!! LOTS OF PAIN!!
I had my Icy Hot, my Electrodes pumpin
and a bit of Ibuprofen in my blood!
I was set!!

Deer Valley has some spots you can ride with trick
tee-ter-todders (however you spell that) and fun
drops. I of course didn't participate on them today
but maybe next time!!
Some cool logs to ride over!!

Nothing keeps us back, especially a
itty bitty sign!!

Notice the gimp leg!! But it was GEORGEOUS!!

After we rode all day, my brother in law
brought up our kids to spend the rest of the day
with us. We planned on going on the Alpine slide
and the Alpine coaster. Ali is turning 6 tomorrow
so we decided to combine the fun to celebrate
our anniversary and her birthday!

Cam didn't need anything more than rocks
Which he thinks are all "BALLS"

Ali, Fro, and our brother in laws,
Mike and Al went on the Alpine Coaster-
which is AWESOME and so FAST!!
It is like a rollercoaster that gets up to 45 miles
an hour as you are FLYING around curves and bends!

When Ali went with Fro her hat blew off, and she
was crying so hard. She was so sad!! One of the
guys that worked there saw her sad little face
and said he would hike up and get it! It was
so nice of him. It made things all better!!
After playing in park city we had dinner, and took
Ali birthday shopping at the outlets. It was a very
full and fun day!!
I loved spending it with the people
I love!!
Happy 9 Years!!

Such a Blast!

Every fourth of JULY we have had a tradition of the
"Slip and Slide" And this year was no exception!
In the past we usually did it in my parents front yard
but this year my dad pulled out all the stops.
His neighbor is a vinyl sign maker and had these TWO
huge billboard signs that we made a slip and slide out of!
It was so much fun, and everyone had a blast. We
ran it down this hill out by my parents house and
everyone that drove by stopped to watch. Partly
because they were probably trying to read the signs
we were slidding on, and the other part was probably
because it was a HUGE slide!

We had guy races, and Girl races, and races to reach the
end. Kid races, and plain old just make it to the bottom races!

Ali was a little nervous at first, but after one run
it was all we could do to slow her down!

My mom and dad are so much fun to be with
they of course raced, and my dad nailed her in the
back! That is all we need a back injury-right mom!!

The "Sisters" race ! I don't need to mention who won
the first run!! Britto was dang close though- my only
real competition!! Except the one run where Camille
tried to cheat and ended up ALL ALONE- so sorry
Camille!! Cheaters never win- "Brown Rules"

I think Alis' second favorite part was lathering herself
up with soap. It made her go "FASTER"!!!
I love her serious game face- she is thinking
How can i possibly go faster???

My little fam- even Cam liked it -- A little!

Ali tried a few different ways to slide,
but i think her knees were her favorite.

Everyone ended up wet, and smileing!!
Even Jamison who was launched down the
slide multiple times, and plunged face first
through the pile of water at the bottom- thanks
to his good old dad - Steve!!

As for my little man, He ended up dozing off
under the umbrella and enjoyed the quiet!
Here is is waking up after a much needed naP.

***************

After the Slip and Slide we headed back to my house
for some BBQ!! We told anyone who wanted to come to
come enjoy our front row seats to the
Thanksgiving Point fireworks show-
Uncle Al who had just returned home from his mission
in Germany two days earlier- enjoying all the kids!!
He hadn't even met Cam yet!!

Some family, friends, and neighbors joined us for some
fireworks and fun!

Little Taylor Bramhall swirling his sparkler!
I loved how my camera was capturing the movement.

Bud and Camille- almost married!!
They were writing their names, can you tell??

That is Ali, making an O!!
We had such a fun fouth and all the credit go
to my mom and dad who always plan such
fun stuff!! We love you!
