He keeps me going!

So this last week I keep having those "Where is my child"

Moments. I hate those, they seriously are the worst.

I had to record a few, just for my memories sake and so

when Cam is older I remind him of all the

drama he causes along with all the laughs!!

I have been lucky to have a job where I can usually take him

to work with me. I take him about once a week, and he usually

does awesome. well this week was definately an exception.

I believe he was teething some molars and was not in the

best of spirits and he kept whinning about everything. He is

a little top heavy and kept falling over everything!! He ended

up bashing his head into a cabinet and got a bloody nose.

After that I decided he needed to have a little drink break and

I took him on walk to the drinking fountain. As we were coming

back he was walking along side me as the elevator door opened.

He pointed and I said, "Yep there is the elevator" and i continued

to walk. my office was right there so I went to open the door and

turned around to get Cam and he was GONE!!

Now this elevator is the SLOWEST elevator on earth, and

pure panick came upon me. I was imagining my ONE year

old cruising up and down on the slow elevator by himself.

The door would open and some stranger would find him

chillin by himself. I had no idea where it had gone, and

No idea if I should run up or down, or what to do. Right

as i went to call the elevator back, he popped his little head

out from behind a little wall. He thought

he was pretty funny!! Not funny-
side note,to the rest of the story--- after that
somehow he managed to press a button on the
printer and it started shooting pages upon pages
of paper off the printer. I kept thinking it would stop
but it continued and continued. I looked down at the pages
and realized somehow he manged to command the computer
to print off every clinic schedule from now back to 1999.
Holy Cow!! It took me a little bit to figure out how to cancel that
command, and after a huge sigh of relief, i decided to call it a day!

Yesterday I went shopping with my sister and was

walking Cam and our purchases and my neice to the car.

I stopped to put the bags in the back of the truck and turned

to lift Cam into the truck and once again GONE! I had my

neice (who is 2) and told her not to move while I looked for

Cam. So once again I am in frantic mode as my little man

is wondering in a BUSY parking lot. I looked between all

the cars, and started getting nervous as cars are coming

and going and I can't find him. Then I hear a little

Plop plop, and cam is across the parking lot hanging

out at the water drain. Iwas so relieved and so mad

at the same time. I have tried to teach him not to

leave me, but obviously it isn't sinking in!

Girls Get A Way

My cute friend Aliesha has a cabin in Park City and decided
it was High time to have a little retreat. She tried to make
it as fair as possible in who got to come and invited several
people and the first eight to say yes were in. The entire
trip we were all on our best behavior so we would get
invited back and have our place set in stone- it was that fun!! The main thing on our agenda for the weekend
was sleep, eat, and eat some more.
At least we accomplished one of those things!
We had a great fondu spread with white and reg.
chocolate and a whole bunch of goodness
to dip into them.
Our friend Jamie is the oldest and we call her Granny J
because she is the oldest and wisest,
and with her curlers in her hair she was definately
setting herself up for some granny comments.
I had to get a picture because I didn't know people
still used those kind of curlers.

We did a LOT of shopping. We said we didn't want
to be gone all day but with eight girls
and all of park city, we had a lot of territory to conquer
and Mindy and I bought everything there was for our boys!
They will belooking good this fall.

It was a crazy fun group, and we had a TON of fun.
We have a lotof dirt on each other, and we all
came away from the weekend appreciating
each other for the individuals that we are.
Yes those are our lips!! Okay some are better than others
and my braces kept getting in the way! What a group.
For my own memories sake I have to record a few of the jokes

We Love the Mountains

Realizing there won't be to many more nights to go spend
the night up in the mountains we decided to go take advantage.
We headed up to A. F to have some dinner and fire fun!
I had to get a picture of Ali and her "MR. Rodgers"moment
as she brought 2 pairs of shoes, one before the dirt, and
one for during the dirt. she is so into style right now.

Britto and her family were there and here
is little Jamison
showing off his little teeth

Her husband was amazing us with his dutch oven style
Scones he was making in the DARK!! The only
light was the light from my camera. We forgot a few things
like FLASHLIGHTS, enough wood-oops!!

I love this picture of the two dads teaching Cam what is
"HOT" and not to touch. He was all over wanting to touch
the fire and the stove.
The kids playing with balloons.

My dad was there having them all act out
a story and they each got to play a part. It was
so cute as they all made sound effects and laughed
at each other. They loved it!
We love the Outdoors!!

It's an EMERGENCY

On sunday the 6th of September, Ali woke me up complaining her tooth was bothering her. It was really loose, and the tooth was already growing in behind it. I took a look at it and decided it was time. I grabbed a kleenex and twisted. She cried out in pain and I noticed some blood. I got excited and told her there was blood, and not to worry. I yanked it out and had it in my hand as she continued to say, "Stop mom it hurts!" I let her cry a little longer before I started laughing and told her it was already out and in my hand! Fro was still in Canada and she couldn't wait to show him her knew tooth and the huge hole in her mouth!! The next morning I was woken up by her yelling, "MOM , MOM it is an emergency- I sat up almost completely incoherent as she told me the tooth fairy had come and left her fairy dust and a dollar. She was exstatic, and I was just glad it wasn't an EMERGENCY!

My mom gave all the girls a little pink tooth fairy chest that they can put all their teeth in when they loose them. She was so excited about the whole thing.

The things in Life

My little sister reminded me on her blog, that Life is
so short and we have to always cherish what we have.
On Saturday I was privileged to attend the funeral of
an amazing example of Christ. She is my new sister in-
laws sister in law- did you follow!! her name is Brittney
Drakulich and I only had the privilege of meeting her
a few times, but every time was honestly inspiration,
and a feeling of Heaven close by. I remember the first
time I met her she was extremely tired, and had a scarf
over her bald little head. She was so frail, and I could have
broke her arm just by squeezing. When I started talking to
her about her lifes' experience I was so taken back by
her countenance. She just radiated Christ and despite
all the pain and suffering she had been enduring and had
endured over 5 years, she was so amazingly at peace.
I walked away from her so appreciative of Christs plan
for all of us, and for his love for us. I immediately thought
about how I would feel knowing with a great assurity that
I would not get to raise my children. That they would live
the majority of their lives without me to hug and cuddle them.
That they would not ever know how much I loved them, and
wanted so badly to be with them all the time. Brittney left
behind a husband who adored her, and three beautful kids.
When she passed away the little girls asked if their mom
would finally get her hair back.
It is little things in life, and people that you are privileged to
know that makes you realize how blessed you are. I can't even
count my blessings, and I can't ever complain about any circumstance
i encounter, because truly the time I have had , has been a
huge blessing I couldn't ask for more.
I am so grateful for my knowledge of Christ,
and even more grateful that he is there waiting to embrace
us into his arms as one of his faithful children.
Thanks Brittney for all the inspiration, for the amazing
example of what life is really all about!!

Canada!

The newest tradititon in our family is Fros annual
CANADA trip!!
He went last year with two of his friends to ride
Whistler in B.C Canada and
since then it is all he talks about.
He Loves CANADA, BIKING, and it is now
a yearly tradition. This year he went with his
buddies, Kade, and Dave,
and they had a GREAT time riding!!
It was a little wet, but nothing stopped
these three from riding, having fun,
and making memories!!
Some of the fun was seeing 4 bears,
riding in the FOAM pit,
and forgetting a passport.
They had a great time, rode a ton, and had a
16 hour drive straight home!!

First Grade

I am a little behind, and ali started First grade a few weeks ago.
I don't know if it was harder for me or her, but I seriously
am having a hard time with her gone ALL DAY!
I thought it might be a nice break, but in reality, I just
Miss her ALL Day!! The worst part of it all is that
she has already had one sick day, and a whole bunch
of "can't I just stay home today" days!! It is hard
because up until school started she was still taking a
TWO hour nap. So school seriously wipes her out.
I confess I have already gone to lunch with her, and
I also showed up at recess to make sure she had her
inahaler, and pretty much just wanted to say hi. I
am a totall sucker when it comes to my ALI!!
The story behind the bangs, is I hadn't slept in a week because
my awesome back, and she asked if she could have bangs,
and I wasn't in the mood to disagree with this plea, so she
grabbed the scissors, and I cut away!! I couldn't believe my
eyes when i realized what i did. I have never liked bangs, and
here I just gave my daughter a whole bunch!! I was TIRED!!
Luckily she loves them, and I can pull them back, most of the time.

she was first in line, waiting "reverently" to go into class.
She is a later gator, which means she goes to school later,
but has to stay longer at school. I am Not a huge fan!
what ever happened to kids going to school at the
same time. She hates when the early kids get to go home!-
And Cam says OWEEE all day- meaning ALI
it is a long day for him without his sister!

What happened to ME!

I know there has been some concern because it is unlike me to post anything for a couple of days, let alone weeks, so I am going to put your minds at ease. We had a " everything break all at once week". Our dishwasher broke, our computer crashed, our portable DVD player died, our car died- that turned out to be a good thing- and i was still trying to walk normally! Lets just say it hasn't been to awesome!!
But now we have a new computer, A new car (fro got a 4 door tacoma for his birthday!!), my fix it guy fixed our washer, with a little bit of love and a new part! and I am walking after completing 2 weeks of physical therapy! YEAH!!! So I will be back in the world of emails, blogging, and washing dishes in 2 minutes flat-oh how i love dishwashers!!!
