St. George

 

This last weekend we decided it was time to leave this weather and head south to a little bit warmer weather. I have felt like we all needed a little get away and so we found a weekend which i could get off of work, and before Fro goes back to work and so last week we packed up and headed south. We planned to leave thursday and my sister and her family were coming Friday. So we had one day to just enjoy the pool and HGTV(I love that channel because I don't have cable) and we soaked up some sun. The next day my sister and her family got there just to find out their little girl was not doing so good and was throwing up. So we spent a little time in the pool with Madi before they had to head home to get her looked at. It was sad because Cam loves playing with Christian and Ali loves playing with Madi so they were both sad to see them leave so quick. THen it just left us chillin in St. George. It was so weird because we usually have my whole family with us but it was just us and we really loved just going at our own speed and doing whatever we wanted. We swam A LOT, played tennis, of course went biking,went to the park, went to a movie, ate out, swam more and just had time together. It was fun and I was glad we did everything we had wanted to. One of our friends came down and spent the day biking with us and that was a lot of fun. The kids rode the dirt, and they loved it too!! I love getaways and I especially love warmer weather right now!!

The Slide

Sometimes I am at work just wondering what my husband and kids are doing and I can usually imagine their little routine. Homework, Snack, and some game(monopoly deal, trouble,or the wii). As I drove home and approached the house this was the sight!!

We had a man made "slide" that fro built and a line up of neighbor kids trying to go down it. It had a banked turn and they were having a ball on this little hill. It was cute to see how excited they all were for this new addition to the street!! Cam kept just diving down it without a sled- He loved it!!

Ali was the girl of the day since this cool sled hill was at her house. I think she loved it!!

My Kiddos'

I think I love my kids even more lately than ever- is that possible??? I just feel like when I get home from work i just laugh and laugh at them and how much I miss them makes me just love them more!! I took this picture and as i took it Ali struck a pose and I couldn't help laughing at her funny little personality. I love that she always shows me her crazy side!! It does exist!!

Cam and Fro decided it was time to undertake the challenge of Potty Training. I was ecstatic that Fro wanted to do it with him. We made a deal that if he got Cam potty trained while i was still working he could go biking 3 times a week. A deal basically for me because all the work and drama that goes into potty training, I knew I was getting the better deal especialy since fro goes biking that often anyway!!
The first day was so smooth and Cam had no problem. I got a text with a picture of Cam in his big boy underwear. He had gone 3 times on the potty and was so proud. I called him from work and he said, "Mom I went potty and Held my weiner down all by myself!!" He was so excited and all the women at work were laughing at how cute he was yelling it on the phone. He is hysterical and I love him so much.
After a few "accidents" and messes Fro had to clean up he is now on a Break!! I think he realized it is going to take a lot more time and effort than he anticipated!!

Even if he doesn't fully get potty trained right now, I still love his little bum in big boy underwear!! I kept calling them panties and realized he is a BOY, and they are UNDERWEAR!! You gotta love this phase!!
